Unprofessional and incompetent
Karla made no attempt to help me during my visit. She walked into the office and told me her name then walked over to the exam table and stood there awkwardly. After a few seconds she chose to just make a noise and hand gesture instead of communicating with words that she’d like me to sit on the table. During the exam she gave no instructions only gestures or little incoherent grunts. At the end she told me there was nothing she could do. I left because google gave me more help than she did. Utterly incompetent medically AND socially.

Awful
The negative reviews about Karla's attitude were completely accurate. She was rude and condescending and displayed the worst bedside manner I've experienced from a health care provider for as long as I can remember. She has no business working with living beings.

I had some very concerning on going health issues. Ms. Rivera sent me in for testing wherein the technician suggested that I get additional bloodwork done . Ms. Rivera dissuaded me from getting thet additional bloodwork . She said that in all probability they would not find the cause . I accepted her recommendation , but after 2 years of worsening symptoms I went to a new doctor. He was upset that the blood testing was not done . He ordered the tests which came back positive for a very serious and deadly disease. I am now being treated , but I am in much worse condition due to her recommendation . Looking back , of course she should have ordered that bloodwork.

Karla was extremely condescending & patronizing during my visit. She spoke in a slow, sing-song voice, as if I were a little child, and even burst out laughing when I was explaining my symptoms. Didn't do any sort of exam, diagnosed me with "panic attacks" & gave me a handout to take home, which listed absolutely none of the symptoms I came in for. I kept thinking this must be some kind of joke, it was so rediculous. She was the most unprofessional & unpleasant health care "professional" I have ever met. Ended up getting actual help elsewhere.

Wow.. I dont understand the reviews that were left by others . It as if we were talking about two different poeple, as that is not the woman that I have seen . She is very attentive , knowledgable and friendly . She responds quckly when I needed to speak to her , and I think, in the two visits that I have had with her , that she is great

This woman is awful and I’m not sure how she is still employed. She spent the entire appointment belittling And reprimanding my boyfriend for his anxiety. She did not solve any problems but instead was condescending, taking over him and myself and would not answer any questions that we had. She was extremely rude from the beginning and had no interest in digging deeper into my boyfriends issues to find a different solution. I was extremely taken back by her attitude.

Worst bedside manner, incredibly rude, condescending, and snarky. She asked me totally irrelevant questions to why I was there ... and then wouldn’t accept any of the answers I gave to the relevant issue- she repeated the same question three times in the rudest way until I gave her the answer she wanted. As a medical professional familiar with the charting system I can only assume she’s basing her assessment on the answers available. Things went fine once I shut my mouth and stopped explaining myself, my body and my life. She talked down to me about not following through on a CT referral two years ago. Little does she know I’d suffered the loss of several family members around that time. Im already battling health issues, the last thing I need is to get diminished and leave feeling small after a visit with a supposed health care provider. The negative reviews I’ve read so far portray her 100% accurately.

She is a straightforward individual, something I appreciate. I found that if I was direct with her we got on swimmingly. I would strongly recommend her to anyone who is honest about what all was happening with their body. Listen to her and she will listen to you.

Worst bedside manner of any doctor I’ve ever had an appointment with. Rude, condescending and uncaring. I was newly diagnosed with a lifelong disease and she, at our first meeting, spent FOUR minutes rattling off what she wanted to say and never let me finish a sentence or question. When she decided our appt was over, she just left the room. I had no idea if we were done until I asked her assistant. Unbelievable. Needless to say I won’t be seeing her again. She is NOT an asset to CHAS.

It confounds, that this provider is even involved in the healthcare profession, when it seems like she probably hates people and wants to make everyone she meets miserable. While, I did read the two previous negative reviews before I saw this provider, I figured you cant believe everything you read online, without any evidence to back those claims up. Well the previous reviewers nailed it. She would be much better off serving a prison population, if she wants to continue a career in healthcare.

Karla is judgemental and unwilling to dig deeper. She does not go into detail. You have to drag information out of her to alleviate any concerns. She labels you from the first time you see her and bases all of her diagnosis on initial meeting. She talks down to you and is really comfortable doing so. I'm not sure if she hates her job or the patients but I can guarantee you will hate seeing her for any health issue you have. She lacks compassion. I cannot emphasize enough how judged I felt by her

I would not recommend this health care provider to anyone. She does not listen, she judges the patients and made me feel like I was out of line for asking for help with serious health conditions. She might be good for a prison population but for normal people she is out of line and needs to consider that not everyone has a charmed life. Some people that come to the clinic she is employed at actually have jobs and lives and work.
