I do not recommend Cat. My teen began seeing her with gender confusion. (this cropped up suddenly). I was kept in the dark and only invited in after they'd seen each other 3 months. At that appointment, "Cat" spoke the entire time, did not care to listen to anything I said about my concerns of the many other things they could work on as far as WHY would life be better as a girl- She would give a statement and then look to my child to confirm (all regarding that basically I need to get on board with my child changing their gender immediately and that in fact they don't need my permission and can do what they want but that she wants to "help" us get to a place where I will basically be in agreement with this and let them go ahead and do this life altering thing. I have been taking the wait and see approach and encouraging my child to wait on anything further until they have a fully formed decision making capability but thinks this is not "supportive" of me. She isn't looking deep enough.
