Kathleen Petro, FNP-BC

Kathleen has been my PCP for twelve years, during which time I underwent four major surgeries and the recovery required by each of them. She is extremely thorough and always available to get patients and has provided a broad network of physician referrals when I needed help by a specialist. She has my complete confidence and highest recommendation.

She is great in all respects except one and I'm not sure you can fault that one. She will give you every test imaginable at the slightest indication that it might, "might" be indicated. I ended up in the ER once at her request. The ER doctor asked why I was there? I told him who my Dr. was and he told me that he understood. I have been to at least one specialist who asked me the same question. I hate feeling like I am being seen as a hypochondriac when the exact opposite is true.

Petro took plenty of time to listen to me, gave me plenty of information to help me understand my questions and was super personable. It was a surprising combination of medical attention and feeling genuinely cared for-just as others had noted when they recommended her. She also took time to advise me on pricing for my insurance for bloodwork, and maintained quick and clear communication regarding results. I would recommend her to anyone! The downside is that she's only in the office a couple of days a week.
