My young son fractured a bone In a traumatic fall. We saw Katy the day my son was to get his cast. She chomped gum the entire time and had not been in the exam room for more than 30 seconds before she said the word “surgery” which made our son start to cry. She then proceeded to tell him how lucky he was that he was not hurt more severely and told stories of older boys who jump off roofs and balconies for fun only to end up with the same injuries he had. My husband and I were stunned by her comments.... she receives an F for bedside manner as she was completely inappropriate and unprofessional.

My son fractured his RIGHT arm in February 2017. When we came back for the follow up appointment, she x-rayed BOTH arms and said that she likes to GUESS which one is broken with EVERYONE. I use to work in an orthopedic practice, and you only x-ray the one that is broken. I reported it to her supervisor, and they didn't adjust the charges of $68 for each arm. Unbelievable. Their automated system kept calling me to make appointment and then she couldn't make an appt more than 3 day out.

She was nice enough, but she was very unprofessional....like chewing & smacking her gum while doing the exam on my daughter & talking to us about what she thought was going on with her. & also proceeded to apply chapstick all over her lips continuously over & over while talking to me answering one of my questions. She didn't spend much time with us & I felt like both appointments we saw her at were incredibly rushed & we were still left with no definitive answers. We ended up seeing another Dr
