Thorough & professional as well as caring
Since i moved to maine finding dr's close to me is difficult . Upon finding Dr Gurney through insurance making an appointment was easy and the staff friendly and helpful . I needed my previous history to maintain eye care and drops prescription. Receptionist gave me a records release form and since it hadn't arrived before appiontmemt Dr. Gurney saw me without hesitation. I had regular exam which was very thorough , but had to come back for visual field and retinal scan since those would take longer and may need a ride home for light sensivitiy. Dr Gurney at first meet seemed to have a clinical demeanor which just means to me professional . She explained everything in detail as well as what she recommended until my records were recieved . She also said if i feel i need to see her before that it's fine. My 2nd visit field test tech was nice & friendly and Dr Gurney was more engaging in conversation while explainong my results. Very nice person to care for my eyes. I recommend them
