Would not give me a referral for an MRI
I asked the secretary to ask Katie if she would give me a referral for an MRI. When the nurse called me, she said I would have to do physical therapy before Katie would give me the referral, because my insurance requires that. I called my insurance and they said they do not require that. Then she said since my primary doctor at the VA recommended the MRI, l would have to do it through them. That doesn’t make sense to me. The VA where they do MRI is not near where l live. Why see a doctor if they won’t give you a referral you need? 'August 11, 2024
