Katrina Traverso, FNP

My experience with Katrina Traverso and her supervising physician , Kevin Costello, was very negative. See below - 1. I had a double lumbar fusion in 2017. I've been in pain management for four years as I suffer from significant lower back pain and nerve pain in my legs on a daily basis 2. I saw Katrina Traverso and Kevin Costello for the first time last week. They said only treatment they could offer me is a Spinal Cord Stimulator surgery and they were not receptive to any other treatments. This was disappointing as there are other modalities out there to treat lower back pain that are less costly and less invasive. Also, my insurance will not cover a Spinal Cord Stimulator surgery until other treatment options have been exhausted. 3. In summary, I felt they ignored me as I am young (35 years old) and they failed to offer fundamental pain management services as part of a treatment plan. I could not have been more insulted and will never recommend them to anyone.
