A couple years ago I saw Kelly Edwards because my regular doctor was not available. While her knowledge and expertise may be sound, it was a really bad experience for me. She commented on my weight during the exam saying "Well, you are a little chunky." It caught me really off guard. I am not sure her purpose of this comment- it certainly didn't help encourage me to lose weight (at this time I was slightly heavy but in the process of losing weight). She didn't know anything about my background or my history of weight gain/loss. This experience stuck with me but I decided to let it go until recently when I discovered that a friend of mine had also gone to her. This friend shared a similar experience where Kelly Edwards commented on her weight by telling her to "lay off the cookies." I understand that doctors may need to discuss weight. However, my friend and I were both left feeling defeated and down about our bodies. I don't want this to happen to any other women. Doctors should build

I see Dr. Charles Lieu in the office adjoining and since my baby making years are behind me, I still need my well woman checks. I saw Kelly for the first time, and in all honesty I can be a tough cookie when it comes to my health care because I have had serious medical issues. Kelly was personable and professional. She explained my questions as well as my concerns in depth. I certainly was not rushed at all. I was very impressed with her.

Kelly was so amazing and kind with the best bedside manner I've seen in a long time! My previous OB/GYN was so cold and so quick to just cast my problems aside, but Kelly took the time to listen and helped me get to the bottom of some the issues I'd been having. This was by far the best experience I have ever had at a well woman exam, and I will continue to see her or Dr. Gray-Swain. The staff was also fantastic and I think I waited for less than 10 minutes. I couldn't be happier!
