If you want a therapist who yells at you and then blames you for it because "it's the only way to get you to listen", go see Ken. If you want a therapist who will tell you stories about other clients (and is surely telling them about you) then Ken is the man for you. If you want a therapist who isn't licensed and is thus not legally bound to uphold your confidentiality, Ken Murray fits the bill. And if you want a therapist who doesn't bill you regularly and suddenly claims that you owe him over 100K, by all means pay him a visit. Therapeutic abuse is a very real thing; it took going to another counselor to recognize that this is what I had experienced in the office of Dr. Ken Murray. I hope that this man gets the help that he needs - until then, he is far more likely to hurt his clients than help them.

Dr. Ken Murray stood by me through severe family issues to a positive conclusion. I will always value his strong ethics and non-judgemental stance. He adjusts his therapy treatment plan to the client's needs, adapting it depending on the results.

I thought that he was a great therapist at first...maybe he was and has been in decline, maybe I just didn't know any better. What I do know is this: therapists should not yell, shout at, or explode in anger at their clients. Therapists should not tell you so much about their own lives that you end up more worried about their own well being than your own. Therapists should not be the ones asking you for advice. He may have been a good therapist once but he's not anymore.

I saw Ken 10 years ago and he has still been the best Therapist I have ever seen.
