I’ve been going to Dr Ridder since I was 15 I’m now 46. I have a very difficult Rx eyeglasses and he was the first one to figure out my Rx. I never liked or wore my glasses before him from age 10 but after him I’ve never gone a day without them he knew exactly how to figure my crazy eyeballs out . and taught my how and what to look for if my new Rx didn’t ever feel right. HE’S THE BEST !!! I don’t know what I’ll do when he decides to retire . And above all he doesn’t talk down to you or over your head he does an excellent job of explaining thing in lay men terms .

Dr. Ridder is an absolutely fantastic doctor. He communicates incredibly well: he explains what he's looking for at each exam, the pros and cons of different kinds of contact/glasses options (I'm at the cusp of needing reading glasses/bifocals), and provides an understandable explanation of the science behind things we're discussing. I wish all doctors were like Dr. Ridder. He's also an amiable and upbeat person. Highly recommend.

Dr. Ridder and the entire staff at the downtown Denver are easily the best eye exam and eyeglass shopping experience I've ever experienced! Dr. Ridder performed a thorough, exacting exam - in spite of me needing more than one view between lens one-or-two almost every time. Then reviewing my results, and eye imagery, explaining - in detail, all defects and the underlying concerns. The doctors at the VSG downtown Denver are phenomenal - I would without hesitation recommend them to anyone and everyone.

I've been seeing Dr. Ridder since I was 8 years old (I'm currently 30!), so that should tell you a lot already. I've (sadly) had to see two other optometrists in all that time and no one can correct my vision like Dr. Ridder. He is the most expert optometrist: experienced, knowledgeable, and attentive; not to mention he is friendly and has a great sense of humor. His staff have always been top notch over the years and that trend continues to the present day. I absolutely recommend him and his practice.

Dr. Ridder always explains everything completely and asks if I have any questions. I never get the feeling of being rushed through my appointment to make way for the next patient. He is knowledgeable, kind, and has a great sense of humor. I actually look forward to my appointments with him. How many people can say that about their eye doctor? That is why I have been going to him for more than 20 years.
