Kiki Taliaferro

I was hospitalized following my suicide attempt and subsequently referred to a Crisis Residential program. My assigned clinician, Kiki, demonstrated a lack of concern for my safety, well-being, and the essential task of coordinating my care post-discharge.During an attempt to explain the reasons behind my suicide attempt, Kiki rudely interrupted, raising her voice with the statement, 'When is this going to stop! You need to get over it!' Regarding the coordination of my post-discharge care, she dismissively remarked, 'Why does it matter, I don't want to get involved!' She even advised my family that if I ever felt suicidal in the future, they should contact the police, without mentioning resources like the lifeline, warmline, or mobile crisis support. All she did was provide me with a sticky note with a toll-free number to the mental health access line, neglecting her responsibilities in coordinating my care and crisis intervention. She does not care about the impact her words have.
