An effective Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner!.
Kimberley Hatler is an attentive and insightful caregiver. During our meetings she speaks to me respectfully and offers practical tools to help me keep my psychological issues in perspective. Kim’s approach is positive and not judgmental, and I can truly say that my sessions with Kim are time well-spent.

Brilliant Practitioner, cares about her patients!
Telehealth
I've seen Kim both in person and via Telehealth. She is an excellent communicator, listens well, asks questions, makes eye contact and doesn't seem rushed. She seems very thorough in coming to a diagnosis of what she feels were issues that needed to be addressed, and included me in the discussion when explaining what she thought should be in the Treatment Plan (prescribing meds, changing med(s) that I was on, other ways to manage symptoms I had, etc) asking me what I thought about the Plan (or changing the Plan on future visits). She answered any questions that I had. Kim was always pleasant and I always looked forward to my next appointment. I also knew where to leave a message for her if I had issues before my next appointment.

do what she says or she withholds meds.
Telehealth
I saw Kimberly for years, and at first things were OK, but they slowly started becoming not OK but since I have a severe anxiety disorder, I never spoke up for myself. I finally found the courage to do so recently. The straw that broke the camels back for me was the last visit. Was very upset because I have lost four people within a year as well as struggling with a separation with my husband and the problems that have come with reconciliation afterwards. So what does she do? Get upset with me for not having blood work done and tells me she’s withholding my meds until I do so. Right after that appointment, another loved one in my life went into hospice and died shortly after. I lost both of my grandparents in less than a year. And she was going to make me do this without medication. If I didn’t find time to go get this damn blood work done. I already had an overfilled plate, mentally emotionally and physically. I had never cried more than I did once I got off of that phone appt ..

While I am aware that not every patient and practitioner are the rt fit, I honestly can’t recommend Ms Hatler. I found Kim to be dismissive, overly attached to her diagnoses to the point that she essentially did not respect me, and a poor listener. Once she was determined she had me figured out and treated, it was basically impossible to work cooperatively on my treatment plan in any way. Worse yet, she freely expressed annoyance when I tried. She insisted (repeatedly, with more than one med) that the solution to my concerns/side effects was to raise my dosage, not look at other meds. I found her brusque, rigid, and aggressively attached to her own ideas once she forms them. Again, I understand not every doc is right for every patient, but I assert she’s dismissive enough to seem arrogant. I need a doc who listens to me and uses a cooperative approach with healthy communication. I don’t want to run the show, but I must be allowed to participate in my own care!
