Kimberly Hicks, CNP

I had been moved to work with Kimberly Hicks after my Doctor, Nina Hourmouzis, was on maternity leave. Kimberly Hicks did not want to go over more than 1-2 topics per appointment, even if they were small topics, and said I would need to schedule many appointments in order to get through 5-6 topics, which has never been normal in my experience working with doctors! Felt very much like a money grab and felt as though she didn’t genuinely want to get me the care I was asking for—she was always late & rushed our appointments too. Along with that, the office was always closed at random times and would close early without saying anything & does not allow for a voicemail to be left if closed. I had to get a heart rate monitor and the process to get one was a mess due to lack of communication between Kimberly Hicks and her assistant, pushing my monitoring back almost a full month. Changed to Ohio Health & feel more cared for! (And can talk about as many topics in one appointment as I want)

Ms Hicks filled in for my doctor when she was on maternity leave. I had a situation where i needed a prescription for a special medication that was hard to find. Pharmacist requested I ask her to do so. Left a message on the portal and with receptionist. No response back. I missed out on the medication which was absolutely needed for me to function. Asked for explanation of abnormal blood tests. No response. Medication was called into the pharmacist wrong twice. Would not call pharmacist for 11 days and still did not do so. When I wrote on the portal that I needed communication from her, I received a Discharge from the Practice letter from her! Her coworkers say she avoids any type of 'conflict' at all cost. Then I received a letter from my doctor when she returned from her leave. BY association, I was Discharged from the practice. DO NOT USE Ms. Hicks. Shes very unprofessional.

I like Kim she always puts me at ease and she listens to me.

Kimberly is great, caring, and sincere. She always has the best patient interests at heart.
