Parental alienation was apparent in our case. The GAL agreed yet Kim was about the money. She did nothing about the alienation and supported the alienation. She is pure evil.

Kimberly Von Bahr is both dishonest and untrustworthy. Kimberly offers excuse after excuse for her behavior, but it is her clients/business relationships that suffer. I would not recommend Von Bahr for professional services.

Kimberly is not what these comments are. These comments are by parents that didn’t get their way so they’re bashing the one person in charge of the best Interest of the child. She is thoughtful and knows what she’s talking about. She did cancel a few times but her reasons were understandable and got my report back to me BEFORE the due date. She really thinks about the child and doesn’t let the kid child fall into the wrong parents hands. So.. as you can see the wrong parent who didn’t get there child is in the comment section throwing a tantrum. Her job is one of the hardest out there. That’s why there’s only a few that do it.

I've known Kim for years - my case is no longer needing her services much but I do reach out to her from time to time and she is always caring, consistent and communicative.

* Please read this! Kim Von Bahr was referred by my Lawyer. I read her all the bad reviews and know from experience that happy people don't leave reviews I tried to be optimistic and against my better judgement I hired her, my gut feeling was right. After several weeks of appts and her investigating my case I never got any results or closure also she could not explain her billing. She cost me thousands of dollars and wasted valuable time. She is not truthful and has no shame. I fired her.

I had a very bad experience with this person. She keep cancelling all the appoinmnets. She wasnt very honest about what she found. My case was settled but she never call us back. She owes us money. Don't ever hire this person. I don't undestand she is still doing business

She was appointed to our custody case. Contacted us right away to get paid. Once we paid her, we heard basically nothing. She set up 4 or 5 different appointments with us, but cancelled every time. So we choose to pick someone else. For over a month we have been requesting a refund for her so we can hire a new GAL - with no response to us or our attorney. She is holding up our case completely- not to mention keeping our $3300! What a horrible human being!

0 STARS!!! DO NOT HIRE HER!!! She is a con artist as I post this review her website is unavailable again and her office space on the Edmonds waterfront is up for rent by the hour? She cannot pay for it? Seems like she is borrowing from Peter to pay Paul. Unprofessional, untrustworthy, un-everything! Sets up extra unneeded counselling to referrals in her network? Acts sympathetic while gaining your trust then drags her feet when it come down to writing reports and seeing your children. BEWARE!!!

My family custody case has been very sensitive...as most are. To be honest reading these reviews when the court first appointed Kim as our GAL I was very nervous. I did my best to remain calm and trust the process. Our investigation was even put on hold at one point. Now that the report is finalized I can breathe. Kim didnt give me everything I wanted but she did what was in the best interest of my son. I believe her job is very hard. I am thankful she was our GAL. -grateful parent

I sure wish I would have read these reviews before agreeing to use her for an investigation. Her investigation was completely biased towards my ex-wife. If you think Parental Alienation might be happening, don't trust this person to have any meaningful findings. She constantly says one thing, then does another. Also, over a month late in delivering her useless report after failing to meet committed deadlines, several time over.

Kim is absolutely wonderful. She took the time to get to know my child and really listened to my child. Kim is so caring. I can't say enough good things about her.

Kimberly starts of so kind caring and charming. She tells you she really cares about your children. You believe her and start therapy. 1000s of dollars later you start to question her motives as she insists on "extra" therapy at 250+ an hour. She insists this is a process and she knows best. Befor you know it you are maxing credit cards mortgaging your house just to see your kids. If you miss a payment, your punishment is not seeing your kids. She is evil with a smile. She destroyed my family!!!
