Kim specializes in accusing abuse survivors of parental alienation. Well, the MD Child Custody Workgroup just came out with their recommendations stating that “parental alienation” is inappropriate for use in child custody cases and that judges should be given a “full overview of Richard Gardner’s own work in defense of pedophelia”, which begs the question, what kind of therapist pushes such harmful nonsense? The kind of therapist who knows the kids are telling the truth, saw the videos, but goes to CPS to lie that her own clients are lying. How does one even begin to unwrap this level of betrayal and unethical behavior? My kids debate who was worse, Kim, who pretended to be nice and empathetic or the reunification therapist, Michelle Sarris, who yelled at them and made them cry. They say Kim, because she made them trust her.

I do not recommend Kim at all. My children are dealing with a coercively controlling, abusive father who puts them through one trauma after another. Kim ignores the impact this has on the children and discourages them from expressing their feelings. The children have no idea why they are going to therapy to be told to act happy and you will feel happy, which doesn't really solve anything. My kids need therapy from her therapy, if only they will ever trust another therapist again.

Expensive family therapy with literally no benefit. Kim seems like she wants to be friends with everyone, preventing her from challenging irrational statements or helping people develop new perspectives. We literally spent months working on a plan for reconciliation, but when there were simple questions asked, she dropped support for the plan, instead of defending or even supporting her own views. Really a huge waste of time and money. You are better off buying a self help book from Amazon
