Dr. Kokab Husain, DC

I went to Dr. Husain for 7 weeks in 2018. I was in extreme pain and after some painful prodding she diagnosed piriformis syndrome. My husband & I asked about X-rays & she reiterated her absolute certainty of diagnosis. I spent 7 weeks & numerous painful visits with her clinging to the hope she seemed certain of, that she was helping. She finally relented and sent me for an MRI due to excessive foot swelling & took so long time to get someone to read the results, I was done. I went to an orthopedic surgeon & the very 1st thing he ordered was X-rays. He said I absolutely did not have piriformis syndrome and gave me an injection which finally reduced my swelling. I learned I had been doing exactly the opposite of what he would recommend in having been on near bed-rest. I still have nerve issues in my leg but I can walk and get around well. After being misdiagnosed, receiving painful incorrect treatment and spending $1600 all I requested was a refund (3x by letter) & she wouldn't respond.

I went to Dr. Koko after going for over two years to other doctors without any relief. Her positive outlook and patience with my road to recovery were the best care I've ever experienced. I cannot say enough about her fantastic care. I saw incredible improvement in the timeline she estimated it would take for recovery and now I am pain free and have been back to regular active lifestyle I haven't been able to have in over 2 years! She's a patient, amazing miracle worker.
