Outdated on perimenopause and menopause with BHRT
While friendly and seemed like she was listening, Kristin had no current data or presented me with any of her own education on BHRT -2024- with respect to perimenopause or menopause. I have exhaustively researched this topic and have surrounded myself with an online community of menopause specialists and I'm so glad I have. Kristin is living in the early 2000's. To be clear, I'm a physcially healthy female, early 50s with a consistent cycle. I already saw a Telehealth provider 2 months prior to explain symptoms and was prescribed estrogen and progesterone and Kristin told me at my appt with her 2 months after that, 'Now that you started those you can probably only be on it for 10 years' --- Wrong info! She wouldn't order labs either to test thyroid levels either, said if she couldn't fix it, that she wouldn't test for it. Happily had my pelvic exam and left perplexed that this is 2024 and she is not keeping up - maybe she will when she enters this phase in her own life.

I have been seeing Kristin since she started working with Dr. Whitlock. She makes you feel comfortable and listens to what you have to say. She great!
