We cannot thank Dr. Penza enough for helping us through the untangling of our son’s academic slow down in middle school. She was professional and genuinely caring in her direction; giving immediate steps to take as well as documentation that later assisted in positive. successful academic changes. She has been a big factor in giving him the support and confidence for him to get back on track and see his potential!

I had seen Dr. Penza for a neurological assessment. She treated me as her last priority during the entire appointment. She answered the phone multiple times during our session and even left the room, interrupting our appointment completely. My last straw was when I was in the middle of a sentence explaining a question she had asked, she interrupts me mid sentence and says “You’re giving me weird vibes, do you even want to get better?”. I was so shocked, I didn’t have any words. It was so extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. I would highly recommend NOT seeing Dr. Penza. A doctor is supposed be someone who cares about you as a patient, listens to you without judgment and actually devotes time and attention to you. Dr. Penza was none of that.

Our family had what we felt was going to be a very daunting task having our child professionally evaluated. Dr Penza provided a very safe and comfortable environment. The office was bright and clean. The waiting room even had books and toys for the kids. Dr Penza took a lot of time explaining the process and answered all our questions. She even offered to help facilitate any further follow-up we may need. Dr Penza presented herself with a great deal of knowledge, confidence and experience, she also had a pleasant way of ensuring we had a good understanding of the assessments being administered. My child expressed feeling very comfortable with Dr Penza. I recommend hee practice to families hoping to have both a comforti.g and professional experience.
