I had a very negative experience with Kristin. She refused to put through a referral to a specialist that I requested, tried to prescribe me antidepressants for a non-depression related issue and got extremely defensive when I simply asked what the side effects of that would be. Terrible bedside manner, should not be working in healthcare.

Hello Humankindness is the motto of Dignity Health. But Rickelman was unprofessional and rude during my appointment. I had an appointment with her in order to obtain a referral for my recent MRI results and ill health. First, Rickelman refused to see me & remanded me to a telehealth appointment from my car. Then, she got on the phone and insisted that I make an appointment with my primary care physician instead of her stating that I was not her patient and that she could not help me. When I insisted on being treated by her as I was seeking a referral and not feeling well, she said that she would have to consult my PCP and she hung up on me. She called me back approximately 20 minutes later. I explained again that I was seeking a referral. She said, “For your 8 mm cyst? I can assure you that your cyst is not causing your symptoms.” I said, “Are you refusing to give me a referral?” She did not answer. She said that she could not give me a referral and she hung up.
