Have been referring patients to. Dr Keane from our practice and urgicare for many years.. including my own child.. excellent job with concussion injury.. thorough and very accessable for follow up... Definitely does not use the credentials MD probably clerical hospital error...I highly recommend her and practice... really wonder if that last review was real patient experience..Not the Dr Keane our practice has experienced...

My daughter was transported to Hackensack-Meridian Ocean Medical Center after a car accident. The paperwork from the Emergency Department and the Emerg Room Dr and PA all said she MUST follow up with a supposed 'concussion specialist'. I was with my daughter when we contacted this specific 'doctor', actually a psych therapist. There was a 'MD' after her name from the Hackensack-Meridian paperwork. She only has a 'psy.d' degree. This hospital referred me to a congenital liar: 1. She falsely claimed she was officially part of Hackensack Meridian Ocean Medical Center, when she is in private practice for herself. 2. She falsely claimed she was the ONLY concussion specialist in "4 counties", when there has been such a doctor literally down the street from her Brick office for about 20 years. 3. Dr Keane was excellent in treating my sons concussion. Very knowledgeable and explained everything to us. Took her time with us did not rush us out of her office.

If you are in pain and need a psych evaluation for your insurance, stay far away from this “so called” doctor. The office offered help for elderly people unfamiliar with computers and then when you show up there’s nobody available to help. After I had to read 338 true or false questions to my dad (true or false to HIM) for HER to evaluate...she deemed him not fit to receive a pain stimulator to be inserted into his 80 year old, spinal stenosis aching, spine. Highly do NOT recommend!!

After reading Dr Keane's reviews I must admit I was skeptical. After meeting her and discussing my concerns I just can't comprehend the slanderous remarks towards her. She showed me the utmost respect and compassion . The conversation flowed and I felt extremely comfortable speaking with her. She was down to earth and not judgmental whatsoever. So if you are considering Dr Keane as your doctor I would not hesitate making an appointment.Trust me I am very selective about what dr's I let treat me!

My husband and I found her to be pleasant, knowledgeable, and considerate. We like her very much and benefited from our visits.

She is rude, curt and not up to date at all on proper concussion protocol. She speaks down to you and is very unprofessional in her mannerisms. I would never recommend her. Stay clear of seeing her. She looks good on paper and on her website but she is probably the worst dr we have ever seen. She's easy to get an appointment with because no one wants to see her. Look elsewhere!!
