Dr.Hoover creates a special connection with each and every client. He is an excellent psychologist with expertise and skills and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Hoover included our whole family in counseling, not just our teenage patient, unlike other Psychologists we'd previously experienced. Since family dynamics play a major part in most people's lives, this made most sense and was very helpful in our situation. Dr. Hoover is non-judgmental, a superb listener, offers insightful advice, "has the patience of a saint," and has decades of experience. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of a psychologist.

We called Kurt Hoover 4 times over a 1.5 week period before he would return a call. He came referred by our provider for children. When I described the situation, stress sleep walking and that his physician felt it was psychological, he said 'wow.' He than asked if my son already had counseling. When I stated/asked 'isn't that why I am calling you/?' he replied would I be paying cash or insurance. When I replied insurance, he stated before we make an appointment he wanted to stress he didn't think he could help my son. Did I still want one? This is supposed to be a licensed psychologist recommended by our provider. My turn to say 'wow,' and not in a good way.
