Kyle Flaherty, LPC

My first visit was great - we identified my problem and he suggested ideas to solve it. The next visit or two were fine, I was happy with the sessions. However, at my last visit he kept telling me he thinks I am fine and walked towards the door twice (early, not like I was going over the scheduled hour) to try and get me out. He didn't ask about anything we had previously talked about. I got the feeling that he felt I was wasting his time. I scheduled a follow up so we will see how that goes. Maybe he was in a funk that day?

I’ve seen a few therapists, but I’m sticking with Kyle. Every therapist isn’t for everyone. But he was a great fit for me. He has never been judgmental. Even when I didn’t necessarily agree with his advice, I know his advice was right. I’ll be following him wherever he goes!

Kyle is an amazing therapist. I highly recommend how counseling to any young men struggling with identity and trying to get their life on track.

Within the first Five Minutes of my initial interactions with Kyle, I felt extremely comfortable opening up. He really seem genuinely interested in listening, didn't spend a lot of time questioning my decisions or blink an eye throughout both of our sessions. Being a person who appreciates eye contact when having a conversation, I would say that Kyle was engaged throughout the hour long sessions. Never once did I get the feeling that in the 85% of the time I spent talking, that he ever lost engagement. That in it’s self honesty is what I believe is unique in Kyle. In the past, I often got the feeling that Doctors, Therapist, councilors, and so forth often listened for a couple of minutes and sat there waiting for an opportunity to comment, interject, etc. That’s not Kyle at all, not to mention he seems to be extremely knowledgeable, non judgmental, and extremely accepting of all people, from all walks of life, with LGBTQ issues in Relationships and Domestic Partnership Challenges! ??

Kyle is awesome. He pushes me to always be better.
