Latrice Casey

Latrece, has been such a huge help, in what I thought/felt was one of the most challenging times in my life. As my case manager, she has always answered all my questions in a timely manner, and always looked out for my best interest. I’m proud to say that with her help, I have been able to get back on my own two feet. I appreciate her for everything she had done for me, and I’m positive that she will continue to change lives for the better. Latrece is amazing, and cheerful individual. Thank you for being the blessing I never had in my life.

Very uplifting and positive!

I was referred to Latrice Casey and it was the best decision I could have ever made to actually meet her. I wasn't going to because I had been used to seeing counselors who look down on me because I was homeless with a 2-year-old baby. I was also in recovery but I was on the verge of relapsing when I met Latrice. The first thing she told me was that there is always tomorrow and there is always the storm before the sunshine. It's not about the storm, but how YOU GO THROUGH THE STORM. She then provided me emergency housing assistance for me and my son and referred me to outpatient substance use therapy and linked me up with a sponsor that I keep in touch with til this day! The most important thing she did for me is made me feel heard, supported and would not let me leave until me and my baby were in a safe and warm environment (it was the middle of winter) and that I knew that I had an advocate as well as an accountability partner who held me accountable when I needed.
