Laura Donnell, ARNP

This provider’s diagnosis was contrary to the DSM-V methodology, medical notes were a mess, she prescribed drugs without taking other steps and in the end I had to go off 5 medications while *supervised* by my long-term therapist and my spouse. My therapist got involved when I shared Laura Donnell’s diagnosis material for me and those dates of diagnosis. She then avoided him and terminated me as a patient, which she said was because she was working “part-time”. A friend referred me to Donnell but she was never a patient, but someone who sort of knew about Donnell’s practice. I am being careful to share my medical experience with provider Donnell with my new providers and reviews to hopefully help others. This experience has been deeply harmful to me and my family. She also used much of our appointment time to learn technical information of interest to her. She asked so many tax related questions in one appointment that I had to put my foot down. Her medical notes also said she was doing DBT and other practices that never came up in the appointments. Beware. The first time I requested medical notes. Everything went up for about a year of appointments with the same date.
