Dr LaPiana is insightful, emotionally attuned and skilled in couple's work; she has been able to help my spouse and I understand the ways in which we misread one another's verbal and nonverbal behaviors. I was surprised and disappointed that this therapist didn’t take some history during the first appointment. That could be her approach but unfortunately she was not a good fit.
