Dr ohern & yalonda are fantastic! They listen and are really willing to help their patients & and express genuine concern - and easy to talk to. I am reluctant to go to dr visits but NOT her!

I have Dr O’Hern as my endo for about 5 years now. I find her willing to listen and help in any way she can. Her nurse, Yolanda, is great to work with too.

Laura O'Hern is an excellent clinician. She is very knowledgable about the Tslim X2 insulin pump and the Dexcom G6 and how they work together. Here is where I will be giving a poor evaluation. I received a certified letter in the mail from Laura O'Hern stating she wished to cancel our physician/patient relationship because I missed a few apts. She would only give me (T1D) emergency care for the next 30 days from the date of the letter. It takes at least 3 mths to get an apt as a new pt esp. for Endo. I have contacted her office several times & still no one will reach out to me to discuss this unexpected, certified letter. I was not given notice of any kind that this was a concern. I s/w her nurse the week prior and she voiced no concerns. She is very knowledgeable, but the human kindness/decency factor is missing. A simple phone call to your patient would do wonders. Patients are people & they need medical care no matter how busy you are or how many missed apts are on the books.

LOVE Laura!! Patient focused!! She and her nurse make sure all your needs are met!!
