Excellent doctor, highly recommend.

My teen daughter was so relieved to finally find a doctor that respected her as a person and took the time to listen to her concerns and not write them off as anxiety based on her history of anxiety and ADHD. She took the time to really listen and ask questions and referred us to a cardiologist where we found the true reason behind her racing heart rate along with an underlying heart condition we wouldn't have known about and will need to monitor. The previous doctor didn't listen and would not give us a referral to investigate more. I feel confident that my daughter is in good hands now since she is now an adult and attends appointments on her own. I no longer need to worry about her needing a parent to advocate for her because Dr Prevatt respects her and recognizes her concerns. Dr Prevatt is an excellent doctor and truly cares about her patient's health.

Laura is an empathic professional who is extremely knowledgeable and caring. I have had a few Doctors in my past. My previous Doctor's practice decided to just care for the VA so I had to find a new provider and I was not overjoyed about that. BUT NOW, I am so happy I found her! About the previous 1 star, I have NO clue what that noise is all about, Pffft!

After an appointment with Laura in October I was told to book another in 30 days for medications which I did before leaving the office.I lost the card so I phoned the office for the time of my appointment on Jan 30th and was told I never made one. Yes I did. I was then offered another date in 2 weeks later, a total of 3 plus weeks from my original date. Unacceptable. I stressed my date once more and was informed it happens. It happens?So does negative feedback on reviews. Once again, Florida doctors office staff are giving the doctors bad names. They act as if they run the place and do not care if patients never come back or leave bad reviews due to their attitudes or incompetence. Sorry, this office isn't for me.
