Today I had an appointment with my 3 y.o son and my 18 month old daughter. While I was talking to the unprofessional “professional” my son opened at drawer and she yelled at him. She YELLED at him! I told her that was not ok and she yelled back at me and told me she ABSOLUTELY HAD THE RIGHT to tell if he gets into the medical supply drawer. No apology, she argued with me about it being acceptable. My poor 3 year old teared up and didn’t know what to do. I would have LOVED to be given the chance to be the PARENT. We are strict and we do not let our kids do our or line of things, but an NP working with children should know better than to YELL at a child! I hope she is disciplined and loses her job. She deserves to sit back and evaluate her children “lack-of” skills.
