If you are looking for a marriage counselor who will help you and your spouse repair your relationship, you should look for someone else. She has managed to make my marriage worse due to her unprofessional handling of our counseling sessions. She continually sided with my spouse to the point of putting all the blame for our current situation on me as if my wife had absolutely no role in our issues. Essentially our relationship problems were all my issue, since I decided to marry my spouse.

Laurie has helped my family numerous times. She is tough and will not tell you what you want to hear, but what you need to hear. She cares greatly for her patience and will help you come up with a solution, but you have to be open to change. She can't help you unless you want to help yourself. She is a blessing.

She’s condescending and it’s clear she judges you. She will make you feel worse about yourself than you did before.

I was 100% honest with her because I thought that would help my marriage. I remember mostly feeling she was disgusted with me for the problems my wife and I were going through. I was disgusted with me, and I didn't need that. I think she's judgement and unprofessional. I regret telling her so much and entrusting her. I'll never go to a therapist again.
