Condescending and rude. Bed side manner was truly disappointing. Would never recommend.

Dr. Hunter was condescending and patronizing. The other reviews hit the nail on the head when they say she's more interested in showing she's smarter than you than having bedside manner. She rushed through the appointment by saying she knows how to multitask. She's one of those doctors that doesn't accept the fact that there may be information of which she's unaware. I went in with healed paronychia and strep throat symptoms (it turned out to be a negative strep test,) and I wanted to make sure the strep bacteria hadn't spread. She was so adamant and belittling about the fact that it would be impossible for the two to be connected and asked me if I knew there were multiple types of strep. A note to you, Dr. Hunter: Multiple strains of strep can cause paronychia. Streptococcus pyogenes, which causes strep throat, can also cause paronychia. You were incorrect, and "doing this for 15 years" doesn't mean you know everything medical that has ever existed for all of time.

Extremely professional
I was very impressed with the professionalism and overall personalability of Laurinia. Although I only had a virus, she was very detailed about what I should do to relieve symptoms. I would recommend.

Simply awful!
I came in to have my chest listened to as my asthma had been acting up. Her diagnosis was to go to the emergency room for an EKG and a chest X ray. I knew it was my asthma, I know my body. She was condescending, rude and dismissive and she talked over me. She was more interested in showing she was smarter than I was over having a bedside manner and compassion. Awful.

Not A Great Interaction
Not impressed with the interaction. Not very personable at all. At minute clinic no understand you don't have a lot of time for each patient, but this was not the issue, she was not in a rush and the clinic was empty. Her personality is just not great for an NP. Is she knowledgeable? It's a basic checklist she has to follow for each type of appt. No real insight on anything. I would not recommend. Sadly, minute clinic does not tell you what practitioner you will be seeing.

Condescending
I visited Laurinia through the MinuteClinic for a UTI. She seemed less than thrilled about working that day. I felt she was condescending and aloof as well as unseen and unheard. I tried to contact CVS to report; however, CVS never returned my call.

This provider (NP) came in with an attitude. Asked me questions and interrupted me while I was answering them. Talked down to me. Made me very uncomfortable as she made me remove some of my clothing so she could have a look at me. Misdiagnosed me, and now I have to see another provider. When I asked what her evidence was for her diagnosis, she was clearly angry. Inpatient. Rude. Would never see her again. I asked the nurse who was thankfully in the room I had somehow offended her from the beginning or if she was always like that and the nurse said I hadn’t done or said anything offensive. I was very thankful to have had her in the room with me or it would’ve been even more uncomfortable. I hope no one else has to experience what I did today.
