Mr. DiRisio viewed my images, identified my problem and referred me to the surgeon in the practice. After total hip replacement in 2012 he did a lot of follow up care. Always thorough and cordial. A positive experience is 2012.

no bedside manner whatsoever when it comes to someone with a drug past i had injured my right wrist falling on a sheet of ice i tore a tendon and fractured one of my bones in my wrist the guy spent may six minutes with me in the exam room looking at the images and says your fine no surgery needed rushed me out the door when i told him my pain level was a 10/10 he said but you have a pain problem so lets not go down that path so when i left to go and checkout i decided i would speak to the nurse manager all she did was told me to call the attending doctor above him didn't help much and to follow up with my primary care doctor so then he comes over as the nurse is saying this to me and says you get your second opinion yeah sure you do that so i shouted i am not lying about my pain he says yeah sure you are i told the nurse that was very unprofessional of him to act that way towards me she acted like she did not want to get involved even when i wanted to call the medical board on him

I've been seeing Lawrence Dirisio for many years for a variety of issues. From trigger fingers to osteoarthritis in various joints to knee surgery (and surgery avoidance) to a torn rotator. He is the consummate professional with both knowledge and experience on the medical side and with an engaging understanding of the human side of medicine. I highly recommend him.

Saw this guy for my injured hand and the first visit he was very friendly but when I went back for a follow up he was very rude to the point of needing to talk to administration. He shut the door to the exam room and started talking very firmly to me and his bedside manner went out the door. Do not recommend

Definitely would recommend Lawrence Dirisio. My pain was at a nine and I couldnt even think or focus as the pain became agonizing.The staff could see my pain and Mr. Dirisio was compassionate, understanding and quickly assessed and remedied the pain. Thank you so much!
