After 20 years of not seeing an eye doctor, I had an emergency and needed one. Dr. Purvis was great. She was knowledgeable and caring. I felt at ease. I returned a few weeks later for a complete eye exam and have since sent my brother to see her as well!

The office is clean and modern. All of the staff I interacted with were professional, knowledgeable, and very cordial. Dr. Purvis was very easy to talk to and wasn't rushing to get me out. They have a pretty good selection of frames to choose from if you wear glasses. I would highly recommend the Summerville location of Ocean Eye and Dr. Purvis!

Highly competent in all respects; very responsive to my individual eye care needs, and reassuring regarding future treatment options for my old eyes! Would definitely recommend Dr. Purvis and Ocean Eye going forward.

Everyone is always friendly and don’t mind answering my many questions. Michelle and Ashley were very kind, and Dr. Purvis helped me understand my test results. I will continue to recommend Ocean Eye in Summerville.

Dr. Purvis was very patient and kind to my 6 year old during her first eye exam. The entire exam went extremely smooth and the staff seems very happy and glad to be there.
