Lester Lamee Jr, PMHNP

These reviews are wild. I have been seeing Dr. Lamee the last year and he's been absolutely great. I was struggling to find the right medication and dose to work with me. He followed all the right protocols, provided testing to see how my body reacts to different meds and worked with me to find the actual right medicine and dosage. He's made laws clear so I am aware that if I'm out of state he can not prescribe to me during that time. Unlike most providers who don't educate you. I'm fully aware of everything with him and scheduling is a breeze. I recommend Dr. lamee if you want to find the right medication and will put in the time and effort to get to that. Nothing but helpful.

He's cold and wooden and reads from a script during calls. He is also controlling and sadly, vengeful.

Lester comes off as cold as an iceberg. And after speaking with him for mere minutes, you learn he doesn’t come just off as cold, he just IS that cold. He rushes you off the call, doesn’t ask any questions other than the ones he’s required to, and treats you like a nuisance he has to quell with medication. I’d have had better luck getting the right medicine having my dog selecting it. At least I know my dog cares about me and would listen… So for people looking for a behavioral health physician, I would suggest looking into other options first.

I've been seeing Lee for just under a year via video calls, and I've had a great experience! Our sessions are no-frills, but he is thorough and provides solutions/options for concerns. I felt listened to and cared about. Would recommend!

Lots of neg reviews about this wonderful psych:) Lester is kind, open, and professional. In all, I would recommend him to my closest dearest friend that needed help. Let’s also remember that these professionals are under extreme pressure these days we are all human and need to give each other some grace as we all get though all of this together.

I have been a patient with IPD going back to 2013. Since then Lester is about the 5th or 6th employee of IPD i have worked with. I started with they in 2019 before Covid. Met they in person twice. The first time we met they asked me if I identified as a male. This was an omen. Since Covid i have had to meet with they every 3 months. Each time they seemed less human. I am looking elsewhere.

Been seeing Lester for over a year and a half. At first (in person visit) it seemed like he was really in touch with what I was going through. I had never been diagnosed with anything or had prescriptions so I trusted what he was saying, and the drugs were working. When switching to video visits, things started to go downhill. He has ZERO communication with you. And no way to contact him. When on the call he asks the standard questions, but doesn’t really listen to what you are saying. I’ve brought up concerns that are shrugged off or told that’s just a side effect. Every month he forgets to put in 1 prescription. Always blames the pharmacy. I know my pharmacists well, they tell me it’s on his end, and usually they’ll front me the meds I need while I wait for Lester to get his sh!t together. He also has been late or missed calls before, without communication. I Wish it felt easier to leave this toxic relationship, but he controls my mood. Really $ and forces u to have apt to get meds.

Awful human hung up on me in the middle of a telehealth session and triggered a panic attack

This man is extremely unprofessional. He got on a video call - said he cannot re-fill my scripts because I am in Florida with my family because of Covid. I told him this was not okay and he hung up the call. He was strange to begin with and I would STAY AWAY from this idiot. Doctors are supposed to help - and if they can't - GOOD doctors help you find someone.
