Dr. Lien Griffin, OD

I’ve been going to Dr Griffin for several years, and find her and her staff to be very competent. She listens and really works hard to understand my vision issues. I did have problems with scheduling and my insurance with her former staff at her old location. The staff member was very rude, flat out lied to me about my insurance and what she had quoted me. She wouldn’t let me speak to Dr Griffin, and refused to let me leave a message. I didn’t return there for my next appointment, but came back for Dr Griffin. She’s the best! Her current staff is wonderful, and I’m very happy that I gave it a second try.

My appointment was rescheduled 5 times (which was not their fault) in order for the office to verify my insurance. I was very specific about wanting to know exactly what I would owe before I came in for my exam. Not once was I informed of the excessive contact fitting fee. I've been to this office previously so they knew the type of contacts I wore. You would think that someone would have the decency to mentioned the fitting fee would be $250 and not covered by my insurance plan. Especially since I made such a big deal about what I would owe after the fact. Imagine my surprise when I thought all I owed was $49 but instead it was $299. My advise: get it in writing. They knew better.

I have been going to Dr. Griffin for a number of years now. She gives a very thorough exam and genuinely cares about her patients' eye care. I would highly recommend her.

Staff was easy to work with and so nice. They verified my insurance and let me know what my responsibility would be ahead time. Both Dr Griffin and her staff made me feel welcome and even followed up with me afterwards to see if I had any further questions. I will definitely be back and recommending her to everyone I know.

I found my favorite eye doctor! When I went to this office Dr Griffin was very detailed when doing my eye exam. She and her staff all made me feel very comfortable. She truly cares about her patients and it shows on how she treated me. You are not just another body coming in she takes times to explain what is best for your eyes. I will definitely go back to this office.

I have superior vision insurance. I went in to Dr. Griffin's office and found out that the insurance specialist would not honor my insurance discount on especially fitting for contact lenses. Not only was she dismissive and just downright rude but refused to get the doctor to come out so I could speak with her. I called superior vision is customer service and offered her a chance to speak with a customer service representative she said she would not speak with them. I will never recommend
