Dr cavalier was a GAL in my divorce, she not only ruined my life but made my children sacrificial sheep and scared them for ever

I went to see Dr Cavallero as a 15-16 year old in the midst of an abusive situation - she served as the GAL . I’m writing now as a 23 year old and I’m telling you she ruined my already broken family.she bankrupted us . She wrote up my terror of a father in a golden light, was completely fooled by his manipulations, and painted my Mother as some hippie in the report- mentioning her nose ring over her parenting. I sat in a room with cavalerro multiple times and spilled my whole story and wept to be allowed to live with my mother and for the truth to be out.. Her report made it seem like she had only ever talked to my dad and she recommended this abusive man as a better fit to parent us. She didn’t fight for the kids. She ruined my sense of trust in authority , that someone would see past my abusive parents front and help me. She drained my college fund with her misdirected report. Her name is poison to me

Dr cavalier as a GAL is not very good Liberal the other parent is in and out of psychiatric treatment and cant be a co parent never mind make decisions on behalf of someone else

Dr. Cavallero was the GAL assigned by court for a custody decision. She is extremely knowledgeable and was not fooled by the usual attempt at manipulation by the other parent. She did a thorough report/updated report , and an excellent job on the stand at the trial. The only place she fell short is her final suggestion. Given the confirmation that the other parent has a PD/other issues that make it impossible to co-parent with, still suggested a 50/50 split physical, if parent gets help.
