My elderly mother with Alzheimer's went into Christian Care. Roemer took my mother off several medications; her depression meds, claiming she was bored, not depressed, and her prescription for rheumatoid arthritis, claiming no medical records although I signed a medical release. She has had RA for 35 years and has severely deformed hands. Removing the medication caused her terrible knee pain with swelling, redness, and heat. I asked for X-rays, and they gave her a cortisone injection. She was better for 1 week. They gave her a prescription for arthritis pain and then pulled her off without weaning her. Swelling and pain back in her knee. After 8 weeks of this issue, we went to the ER for 6.5 hours. ER states that she has an old fracture. Roemer read the X-ray, said it was the wrong knee, and sent her for another X-ray without informing me. I took her to the orthopedic and he said the correct knee, labeled wrong. He put her back on meds and she is fine.

The WORST medical professional!!!
This women is the worst medical professional I have ever encountered in my life!!!! I’ve never spoken to someone so rude and money driven ever!!! I called Romer (after playing phone tag for a week with her office) about the balance owed for my uncles care because his state insurance had not paid the bill. After talking to the state he was never assigned a case worker I order to get him on the correct insurance for ALTCS. I explained this to Romer. I also explained to her that because of this issue we are currently paying out of pocket $8000 a month for the facility he is in. I asked “ is the care from you absolutely necessary at the moment , just until we can get the insurance sorted out” the women bit my head of and proceeded to talk to me like I was a dog. She also proceeded to tell me that “if your family can afford $8000 a month then her “messealy $600” fee should be nothing. I never once said we wouldn’t pay her, I just needed the information as to why and what care she Provided
