I recently took my son to Dr. Vinca due to some moles on his face. The wait time to see Dr. Vinca was quick and from the second she walked into the room until our visit was over, both my son and I were extremely comfortable and confident in her diagnoses. She takes time to listen to her patients, explains procedures and next steps, and is extremely knowledgeable. I will never go to another dermatologist and I have recommended her to many other people who have been just as happy with her as I am. I can not say enough wonderful things about her professionalism, her empathetic disposition, her warm smile as she greets you and her overall concern and trustworthy nature. She is wonderful!

I have gone through about 3 doctors now regarding a condition that to them was somewhat common. After I expressed my concerns to Dr. Vinca regarding my current condition and how nothing seems to be solving the problem, she was attentive and helpful versus dismissing me quickly to fill her quota for the day. I am thrilled to have finally found a specialized healthcare professional who is concerned on identifying and curing the root of the problem. She is truly a gem.

After spending nearly 45 minutes in the waiting room, Dr. Vinca came in to diagnose and speak with me for no more than 4 minutes; 3 of which was spent trying to sell me on a treatment with a laundry list of potential side effects and a tenuous success rate. Left with more questions than answers but with her no longer in the room, I asked the nurse/aide a few further questions and she left and asked on my behalf, and came back with a dismissive answer. Shockingly negligent patient care.

Saw her in the Hamden Dermatology practice; she is very personable and quickly determines what the problem is, explains what she is thinking, yet does not have you feeling rushed. Keeps to schedule so there is not much waiting time. Staff in this office is also very courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to her.
