i was lucky to finally get an appointment with Dr. Fuson, and some of my medications from my last refill with kaiser permanente were already out. because of the type of medication, dosage, and how long i've been taking them, it is extremely dangerous to run out/quit cold turkey. all i needed was a small refill on my medications, but Dr. Fuson made it clear from the start that i was not to be trusted or given any of my medications. instead, she said the only option was to take time out of my week to check myself into a hospital or even inpatient so THEY could get my withdrawals to go away. she would not even give me small sample portions of my medications so i would have enough to get by just for me to send the rest of my medical information from kaiser. i was understandably already emotionally/mentally worn from days of withdrawals, but when i started crying from hopelessness, she made a point to make me feel ashamed and suspicious. i hope she is kinder to other patients. xoxo
