Lisa Braund, NP

Lisa Braund does not have a good bedside manner. She seems to make her diagnosis before even walking in the room and only seems interested in steamrolling the patient into her diagnosis without much regard for what they have to say. She also interrupts constantly and it's very hard to get a word in edgewise with her, not that she listens to her patients in the first place. She works in Family Practice and every time I see her for bacterial sinus infections (to which I am prone), I have to fight with her for simple antibiotics. She feels she knows my symptoms better than me and boasts her former ENT experience as reasoning for why she knows my body better than I do. I do not like being seen by her because I hate that every visit has to be an argument for why I need an antibiotic for a bacterial infection. Family Practice has plenty of good providers, so please avoid this one if you can. She may be knowledgeable, but she is not good with patients.
