Lisa Dodd, LPC

Lisa was appointed our court custody case as CAA. She collected the testimony of the opposing party and his attorney. I informed her the father had lied in prior proceedings and there was a judgement awarded because of this unpaid. She was informed of his history of domestic violence, hospital stays and opiate and alcohol addiction. I asked her if she would verify what he was telling her she told me no. She did not call even one person that I gave her phone numbers for that knew our daughter. An incident happened at school and her childcare while Lisa was assigned out case. Daughters teacher tried to reach her she would not take the call. I explained the court ordered supervisor was not stable and I was reluctant about a visit. (She overdosed 3 days later which would have been on fathers parenting time also his relative) sent her over 200 pages of docs she admitted on the stand she did not bother to read or call anyone, recommended unsupervised time when he'd missed over 40 U/A's

A little scared that she is my AAC after reading these other reviews and she still hasn't reached back out to me and her voicemail is now full, telling me she does not check the voicemail on her listed professional number

Lisa Dodd was a CAA in my court case. She did not do any investigation or talk with any relavant witnesses. No I would no recommend her to anyone. She is only there as a counselor who I never intend nor would want anyone to use. She is terrible at what she does. I feel sorry for anyone who uses her as a counselor or CAA. If you have to request someone else. She is under qualified and lacks expertise in the behavioral health field. She only goes on what she wants not what is at hand. And her recommendations are absurd and not accurate either. She should not be practicing at all.

She never contacted me. Received report day before court. Had surgery that day and was unable to respond. She waited 6 weeks after interviewing Petitioner to even contact me. Eight years of custody battle only to ressult in a bias unsubstantiated report that included wrong information, assumptions and no input from me.

She was C.A.A. in my court case. Her investigation was non-existent. She did not meet with the child or any relevant witnesses to the case. She made her report based on baseless claims made by the other party in the case. She did not address the reason we were in court or that she was assigned to our case. Her report was incredibly one-sided. It appears that she did not review any of the evidence in the case. Her report was finished the day before our trial. She seems to be collecting a paycheck with no real consideration for the best interest of the child. Her work is lazy and she does not appear to have a good grasp of psychology based on some of her observations. I would be concerned if she is assigned to your case.

She was assigned to my case by the courts. It was a joke. She did not familiarize herself with my case and barely knew what was going on. She merely does this for the extra income in my opinion because there is no concern. She was ill prepared for my case and most of the answers to her questions from the judge were limited or filled with I dont knows. It's very sad. If she is assigned to your case be very very concerned.

She is flat out a LIAR. I have the proof.

If Lisa Dodd is your court appointed adviser request a change immediately. If you do not get a change, ask that you record the meeting ahead of time. If she refuses ask for a court order to do so. This person is dishonest, doesn't look at all of the evidence, and is simply incompetent. She waited until the morning that our pre-hearing statements were due to file her report stating she didn't feel good the night before and fell asleep on the couch...totally unprofessional and bias. There is a reason she was sanctioned and has a pile of bad reviews.

if she is your court appointed advisor request a change immediately and if you cannot change her make sure you record your entire session. She will choose sides and completely ignore evidence from the side she is against. She will also make false claims in her reports. She is biased and unethical. Beware.

Not a good LPC / therapist. Very one sided, writes lots of notes but doesn't follow up on them. Gives a one sided view. Focused on her self, talked about the divorce she was going thru instead of helping our marriage. Often unprofessional, shared personal information about other clients. Would not go back, didn't help me or my now ex husband after over a year of her stringing us along. Id look elsewhere there is definitely better out there.

Was given documentation including video and written as to child being manipulated . Child was repeating what parent , derogatory remarks , what happened to the mother in this case making statements , child was repeating those derogatory remarks. Ms dodd did not acknowledge a multitude of information presented to her as in regards to the children being manipulated. She is educated but in this case lacked the ability or responded to the court without proper interpretation of information provided

My daughters and I have been patients of Lisa Dodd for over 3 years now. I could not have asked for a better therapist for all 3 of us! We have been through some very traumatic experiences and Lisa has always been truthful, resourceful, gentle (when needed) and sincere. Her evaluations have always ended up being correct even when I refused to see the truth and her treatment has always been direct and healing. I appreciate her honesty and her commmittment to my well being and my daughters.
