I went and saw Lisa for a rash that was developing on my arms and neck. It was something that I’ve never been seen for before and something that has never happened to me. The visit was probably not even 10 minutes long. She immediately prescribed mometasone for the face. (Why she prescribed a high potency steroid for my face when I came in for something on my shoulders and neck I’ll never know why) I used as prescribed for 7 months. It got worse and worse so I decided to go off of it because it wasn’t fixing the problem and instead making the rash spread to new parts of my body. After I got off it, I took my damaged skin to a new derm who immediately wanted to know who prescribed mometasone FOR THE FACE! She could not hide her shock and said that mometasone is not supposed to go anywhere near the face ESPECIALLY when nothing else has been tried before. Presently, my skin has not recovered. It has been itching and oozing for over a year and now I have depression and insomnia. FORGET HER

Lisa has now caught three skin cancers for me. One of them was a melanoma. Just today Dr. Richey surgically removed the third one that Lisa correctly diagnosed and biopsied. I have great confidence in her. Also, she never seems to rush our regular skin-check appointments and seems always to have knowledgeable replies to my questions.
