Lisa Levin, MSW

I’ve been seeing Lisa for some months now. I really enjoy her style, her knowledge, and the knowledge she wants me to have as well. She’s thorough but can also keep things light-hearted when necessary. She definitely cares whole-heartedly about the people she sees. I’ve learned and grown a lot since seeing her and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist.

Lisa has a knack for asking the right questions so her clients can get to the right solutions. She does this with a healthy amount of advice and education into how people think and feel. Her approach is one of kindness, patience and passion to help. Lisa is an absolute value to my self-care journey. Her enthusiasm for her clients is beyond reproach and she is excellent at coaching and helping sustain healthy mental habits. I would highly recommend Lisa to anybody that needs help.

I absolutely love Lisa. I've been seeing her for 5 years. With her knowledge, I was provided the tools to be able to work through day to day hiccups, so to speak.

I have had four previous therapists with minimal success, but Lisa has helped me significantly in a short period of time. Her therapeutic approach is somewhat casual, which has been a welcome change for me. She also uses some non-traditional yet very effective therapies. Lisa makes me feel completely understood and helps to gently guide me through the the issues I want to address in therapy. Recently Lisa helped mediate a session between my mom and I. Although the session was scheduled for one hour, she allowed it to organically continue without any sense of rushing it for almost two hours, when it naturally came to a conclusion. I am very grateful to Lisa for helping to steer my healing journey and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist for their own personal growth.

Being me, I know myself through and through, and I know for a fact that I genuinely love helping people overcome their mental/emotional obstacles, and I am good at what I do. Over the 20+yrs doing this work, I have built my skill to a place where I feel CONFIDENT in the service I provide. I know I can help! And I know I can help in less time than my counterparts. I'm not gonna keep you around if you don't need it. That's the goal... to not need it! So would I recommend me? Yes! I get excited when my clients win!! I have a lot of tools in my belt built from all the experience and trainings over the yrs, so it's never one size fits all. I can help even those that haven't had good experience in therapy and think it can't work for them. I honestly would not feel right recommending myself if I thought people were wasting their time with me. So I give myself 11 stars! Oh, wait... What? Only five is the top? Oh ok then. 5 stars for sure!

With a warm comforting smile, Lisa welcomed me and all of my baggage, when I arrived at my 1st session, with tears in my eyes. Within minutes, I knew she was the one that was going to be my hero. We spent the next several sessions unpacking that baggage. Some of the items were unfamiliar to me, and I didn't know where they came from. I knew Lisa was on my side, and I had full trust in someone for the 1st time in my life. Lisa didn't just listen to me... she understood me & validated my feelings! She has stood by my side and guided me, while I put in the hard work on myself. I don't show up empty handed, although I don't arrive tripping over my baggage anymore, either. Lisa is very compassionate, educated, and amazing at what she does! She has taught me that I matter, I am loveable, and I am worthy of all great things. She saw that in me, way before I did. With her help, I now know who I am! I am my own Hero! I will forever be grateful for her and I recommend Lisa Levin to everyone!!!!

Lisa helped me get through a very traumatic trama. She got me out of a very dark and difficult time by helping work through all the emotions, grieving process that I had to go through. I knew I was in a safe place to express myself and not be judged for what I was feeling. She was also one of my cheerleaders when I met a goal. I would and do recommend her to anyone who needs help!

Lisa is an amazing therapist. Working with her has been really awesome, and I’ve really gotten through so much stuff with her help. I went through a really tough childhood, and discussing it in therapy has helped me realize just what happened to me, and how it wasn’t okay. 2022 was a very difficult year for me as well, and I made it through because of working with Lisa. I highly recommend her. The way she does therapy is much more of a let’s get to the root of the problem and figure out how to get this to not affect you so badly in the future/not let it happen again. Working with Lisa is a thousand percent worth it.
