I was a client of Lissa’s in 2021 at a PHP-IOP program. From the beginning, Lissa dismissed my treatment goals and failed to consider my full medical picture - including diagnoses she claims to specialize in supporting. Lissa lacked compassion so deeply that I frequently left our sessions distraught, and other patients had to counsel me through the resulting distress (let that speak to the lack of ethics in that program, but I digress). Lissa was a key member of a treatment team that gaslit and failed to provide evidence based, individualized treatment. When I did not meet my treatment goals, because I wasn’t actually treated, I was dismissed from the program without guidance for any next steps. Among the patients, Lissa had a reputation as punitive, condescending, and uncaring.
