Lubna Akbany is the BEST! She’s very professional, caring and understanding. She is very detailed and thorough. I have been working with her since February and I wish I found her sooner. I’m SO thankful for her!!

Lubna was referred by my very highly regarded nephrologist. I am so appreciative of this referral for my early detected CKD. She is so kind and personable with the warmest bedside manner that our session went too quickly. After introductions, Lubna examined my bloodwork like a forensic pathologist, communicating all of my results, well beyond anything to do specifically with kidneys. I have a much better understanding of all those results now. Then, she went directly to CKD and what I should do with diet to curtail a worsening of the disease, which is the goal. My diet is established and my urine samples are dramatically improved. Lubna is the best.

Lubna is patient, kind, and able to break down complex functions to make them understandable. Her personality and manner are professional, but she also has a witty dessert of humor. I searched for a nutritionist with a renal speciality. I am thankful I found her. Her fees are reasonable and her hours are flexible. I fully intend to keep seeing this top notch nutrition specialist.

She is very knowledgeable, Focusing on cardiac and kidney patients. Easy to communicate with, and extremely kind and patient. She will have handouts for you, but be prepared also with notebook and pen. I highly recommend her services.
