I felt immediately assured that this was a top notch professional. She carefully listened and then explained to me what had been causing my severe pain and showed me on my MRI. She explained what nerves and muscles were being affected and how my physical therapy and swimming program were having a positive effect reducing the pain by more than 80% thus far. Enough so I may actually avoid surgery. Her positive reinforcement and to contact her if there were any significant adverse changes.
