Manuela Gallegos, PA-C

My pregnant wife was throwing up and had diarrhea all night. Anytime she drink any type of liquids she threw up immediately. We scheduled an appointment at urgent care and Manuela Gallegos saw us and refused to give my pregnant wife an IV because her lips didn’t look dry. She was severely dehydrated with our baby in her stomach and this excuse of a doctor kept refusing no matter how many times we asked. I took her to a local fire station where they administered an IV to make sure nothing serious came from her dehydration. This visit to see Manuela Gallegos was not only a waste of time but a waste of money. I see multiple 1 star reviews and I question how the PA has a job still. AVOID MANUELA GALLEGOS AT ALL COSTS.

Not Good. I went to the Atrisco Clinic with concerns re: my elevated blood pressure and dizziness. Ms. Gallegos insisted I was dizzy due to impacted wax in my right ear. This has never been an issue for me. I told her NO, it is my high blood pressure. She was adamant that the wax must be removed. I was in her care for 2 1/2 hours while she had a technician instill 2 LITERS of water by way of spray bottle into my right ear. Now, weeks later I have a major ear infection (which I have never in my life had before) with severe pain going down my neck and up into my sinus cavities. The wax was never removed, she only said "oh it will fall out on it's own one day...." well, it did not and now I have a major ear infection as a result of her negligence. My elevated blood pressure was never addressed. I am frustrated beyond belief that this woman is practicing as a PA. This was completely inappropriate treatment for my BP.

Two days prior to meet with Gallegos, I was hospitalized and diagnosed with the Flu. It’s was recommended that my son and husband should get. Despite of me having the flu and my son having the initial symptoms, she refused to give my son the medication. I explained her that my son needed based on what the MD doctor from Presbyterian recommended. She got upset and started to say to my son that he was going to die and that the Tamiflu was worthless. I’m getting ready to report her to medical group

I saw PA Gallegos a week ago. She refused to give me an antibiotic for my deep, persistent cough despite my recent history of hospitalization with pneumonia. She said something along the lines that ‘old’ people are used to getting antibiotics when they don’t need them. Within 5 days after seeing her, I was much worse and saw a most excellent doctor at another Pres urgent care. I’m improving, with antibiotics, under his care.
