Dr. Marc Burd, PHD

i chose dr. burd because he holds a doctorate in wht he does unlike many metal health professionals. his personality is very new york, which i love and made me feel comfortable. he is thorough and caring, and very sweet. i have enjoyed working with him very much.

I am a person who suffers from highly dense and hidden childhood and adult traumas . Dr. 'Burd' was aware of this. On the first session, he instructed me to eat a small piece of food slowly, yummy like an o (reference) and groaned ands made blatant movements. He started threateningly into the camera. I am a provider. On the second session I asked him how to handle countertransference. He replied 'I just say to myself: 'I'm glad I'm not you'. Dr Burd will not allow you to defer a question or say 'I don't know' as an answer, as this is 'not allowed'. Authoritarian, controlling, incompetent, and downright nasty. UNSAFE. Avoid this provider at all costs. One extra star because he still seems to be breathing. Oh yes, and nary I forget, he eats messy food infant of you, leaving it dangling inches mustache, and makes inappropriate use of silence, making you uncomfortable. Talks about his trip to the Space Needle in Vancouver!!
