Marcia Tyler Evans was my father's provider. He unexpectedly passed and the coroner sent your office documents in order for a cause of death to be signed. This processes must be completed prior to the body being released for viewing, cremation, or embalming. Her officer spent several days telling the coroner, the mortician and myself that it was on her desk marked as urgent; however, they were not getting the document returned. In an attempt to keep things moving forward I went to her office to ask for help getting the documents completed. Marcia Tyler Evans never offered condolences, empathy or understanding. She spent time indicating that my desire to get this completed during this business week (5+ days after my father had passed) was irrational and "no pleas or beginning [would] make it happen". Although her staff never informed any of those who had contacted them before this interaction, she told me that the document would not be signed by her and this it MUST be sent out to a doctor. I left that interaction feeling insulted and like my father was nothing more than a copay and insurance check to her office. Her demeanor would deter me from sending anyone I care about to her office for care.

Attention to detail and genuine care
Being a MediCal patient, I was used to seeing doctors who were overworked and not rooted in my home area. Marcia was neither and she brought great attention to detail. She made an effort to understand my over health before diagnosing. She bring strong medical experience and intuitive insight to the visit. I felt cared for every step of the way. Thanks to her I got the referral to an Eating Disorder specialist I needed and answers about a puzzling condition I was experiencing in my hand. If I hadn't moved over the county line I would still be seeing her today, and hope to again in the future when circumstances change.

0 star, if you had it
Initially Marcia was warm and assured me she would care for me after my primary physician retired. She assured me she'd continue with my current medication and care. After a few months, she decided to remove medication I'd been taking for years for psoriatic arthritis. Last straw was when pharmacy had backorder on my other prescription and she insisted on cutting the tablets in half, even after I reported that was not effective relief. She has shown little to NO COMPASSION and there are limited options in this area with doctors retiring and others not taking new patients.

Stress free visit & I felt understood
Before Dr. Marcia, I would feel so anxious to visit my physician. It took so long to get referrals, sometimes up to a year of complaining before I earned a visit to the specialist. Dr. Marcia listened to me, she heard my concerns and gave me the referrals and follow up care. I still can’t believe it, I got help today. She was so compassionate and clearly explained what I need to do. The staff members are friendly and fun. It is a pleasure to go to the doctor now. I only have positive experiences and am so grateful for the awesome patient care and guidance. Thank you Dr. Marcia!

Office Visit
Marsha is hands down one of the best PA’s I’ve ever had. I love her no non-sense attitude approach towards my health care. I’m a bit of a hypochondriac, and always thinking my condition is worse than it is. She brings me back down to earth and calms my fears
