I saw Dr. Edwards regularly for 2 years. Then she "terminated" (psychotherapy term for finalizing treatment) with me with only a week's notice. Later on she would not discuss my case with my new therapist. At the time I didn't know how these actions are considered unethical by licensed providers of psychotherapy. It was also an extremely hurtful experience, as I had told her personal and very sensitive information. I would warn anyone to stay away and choose an ethical provider.
