Margaret is fantastic! I have never had a psychiatric appointment where I felt I had been so understood. Over time, she made recommendations on my treatment plan that were life-changing. She really listens and takes time getting to know you and seeing the big picture before prescribing anything new. I am extremely grateful that I found her. Would highly recommend.

My first appointment she didn't want to listen to anything I had to say and she didn't like the fact that I told her I had been on many medications for anxiety and depression and none of them have helped me. So she says to me was she can't help me so I should find a new doctor I couldn't believe it. I don't know why someone like her would even be a psychiatrist she's very unsympathetic doesn't seem to grasp the aspects of mental health whatsoever.

I saw Margaret for the first time to work on my anxiety. For our entire hour and fifteen minute appointment, she talked at me - not to me - at me, about ways I victimize myself and "create a bad life for myself". She asked me if I would like to receive therapy services at her practice and when I told her I already have a great therapist, she told me that I need to go to her and do "Real therapy". When I told her I'd like to move out of my house, she said I would end up in a shelter. She also told me that "I shouldn't worry about being single, I need to be alone", however, I am in a committed relationship and have been for years, so I'm not sure why she said that or where that came from. Most of the session was spent with me feeling uncomfortable, unheard and shocked. She was very abrasive and did not listen to me. This was very concerning to me as a new patient. I would not recommend.
